It is seen as a course for students who wish to pursue their academic careers in public universities after completing this particular course. The course may be a national course; however, it is still recognised by foreign universities in; Australia, United Kingdom, Indonesia, New Zealand and other Commonwealth countries.

English Langauge. Pengajiam Am Matrikulasi. When compared to other pre-university courses, Matriculation is the most cost-friendly option!
The reason why the programme is so cost-effective is because most of the fees are payed by the Malaysian government.
Students who choose to enroll in this programme only have to pay for the registration fee when a letter of offer has been received. In addition to it being cost-effective, the Matriculation students also receive an allowance every semester for their own use. Matriculation while it has different streams for you to choose from, it still allows their students to choose from a range of course when applying for their degree.
For example, if you studied in a Science stream doing your pre-u years, you still can choose courses from Medicine to Engineering to IT. Matriculation is good when it comes to having a wide selection for your degree! While Matriculation may be a national pre-university course, students who have graduated still have the opportunity to study abroad because there are institutions abroad that recognise the programme.
Compared to a lot of local and international pre-university programmes, Matriculation is a quick route allowing their students to finish within just a year. Allowing them to further their studies and take on their degree programmes quicker than the students in other pre-university programmes. So this programme is recommended for students who want to start their tertiary academic careers as soon as possible! Since Matriculation is more popular nationally, there are more options for students who want to apply within Malaysia.
However, if you are wanting to institutions abroad, this course may not be the one for you as there is only a limited amount of foreign institutions that recognise this programme. Matriculation is only applicable for SPM-Leavers who have met the minimum requirements for each stream available. Because of the large competition, if you want to apply for matriculation, do make sure your grades are much higher than the requirements listed above in order to be recognised! Grading system is similar to public and some private universities where the grades are calculated into a Cumulative Grade Point Average CGPA which is used to assess your performance.
Do u want to take the road least travelled which can make all the difference or do u prefer the well beaten track where everyone knows your name?.
For one day down the road when u are old and gray and u reflect back on the long and winding road that u had travelled, u can say proudly that the decision u made then is what u had become today. No pain, no gain. U can live all your life and not really know who u really r until u can see yourself through the eyes of others!
Good luck to whatever u decide on, may the force be with u always. Are you nuts? Out of spec? Need a shrink? Either you accept the offer or you don't. Clear simple and straight forward. There is no horse trading here. If you don't want it, Gomen will be very happy to give your place to those who begged for it.
That is Gomen call, and not yours to make. Good luck. Once your name is in the Matriculation list, your name for the Form 6 list of students will be cancelled. To reject the offer for Matriculation, do not attend the registration.
Instead, go and apply for Form 6. Girls are encouraged to wear baju kurung. But if you insist on wearing a skirt, the length must be until beneath your knees and it cannot be tight fitting. The allowance we get is RM per semester. According to some seniors, you will only get the allowance by the second month, which is June. This is because many students will leave Matriculation for some other course. By registering for Matriculation, it doesn't mean you won't get other offers, namely JPA.
You may stop following the Matriculation Programme under 6 conditions If I am not mistaken. One of which states that you are able to leave due to scholarship given by the government. By entering Matriculation, your future is set here in Malaysia. You will enter a University albeit local. You may not enter the University of your choice but this is all up to the student. Score 4 pointer and who would refuse you?
I don't know the extend of the truth so take it with only a pick of salt. Studying far away from your home will happen sooner or later. I suggest we all buckle up and move forward. Besides, it is only a year programme. Your job now is to study and work hard in life. This obstacle of being away from home will happen.
It is ineveitable. Good luck guys! Just wanna ask a question. Can we change course? Because I want to change from science stream to account stream? Is it possible? I'm desperate to know. Anonymous Yes,u can study law in ipta.

The top student in my batch is a guy from matrix.. So for anyone who gets matrix, pls take the offer, unless you've already secured a complete scholarship like JPA or Petronas Good luck..
